AUGUST 5TH

I'M HOME! :)

Well last night we all stayed up all night so that we'd be tired and sleep on the flights. I however took no naps at the hotel and didn't sleep on the flight so once I got home and Ian came over, I ended up sleeping... Last night we also went out into Shanghai at like 2AM when we landed from Henan. We went and ate street food and I bought juices at the store! I watched quite a few movies on the plane - Maid of Honor, What Happens in Vegas, Must Love Dogs, and Anywhere but Here! I sat by a Korean girl coming to the States on a culinary intern. She's going to Nevada. I talked to her on the long flight across the Pacific! She was really nice! The flight times were about 10 from Portland to Tokyo and then another 3 from Tokyo to Shanghai, with an hour or so layover in Tokyo. It's really cool, we left Shanghai at 10AM on Aug 5th and landed in Portland at 8:30AM on Aug 5th! Isn't that neat? I think it is!!!
